Sorry it's been so long since my last post...
Surprise! We had a kid! Kinleigh Mae Hill was born on September 27, 2011. She weighed 5 lb 3 oz and was 18 inches long. She's a little doll and my other love in life. She's been quite the good little girl, if I don't say so myself. She's gotten to the point where she's sleeping for 9 hours straight now, thank heavens. She loves smiling, looking at lights, and being observant.
I got promoted to Sergeant in the Army. However, I don't have too much time left on my contract. I get out in October. Again, thank heavens. It's really gotten old...
Kelli is working at Forest General Hospital on the top floor. She doesn't like it too much because she gets overloaded with patients. She's currently in the process of trying to move do a department that only works Monday-Friday and is off on weekends and holidays.
I'm currently going to Jones County Junior College full time. I'm working towards a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering over at University of Southern Mississippi. Here's to luck!
Kelli and I are currently looking at houses outside of the city limits of Petal. We've found a few that we like so far. Hopefully we'll be able to decide on one soon and move in to our new home within the next three months.

December
December brought many ups and downs for my family. Both my sisters graduated with their masters degrees! There were several birthdays: my Mama, Papaw's 88th, Keela, Tracie, and Jason! On the down note, my Papaw V.L. was in a car wreck. So he was put in the hospital to repair his broken hip, wrist, and many other injuries. I had to work on Christmas day, so we did family gathers a bit different to work around my schedule.

Trick or Treat?
On Halloween we had to take Kinleigh trick or treating as a pea in a pod. We stopped by the Hill's house and ate supper. Then we went to the Myers' house to visit. Kinleigh kept getting too hot in her outfit so we had to take it off several times. We went to my Papaw V.L.'s house too! Kinleigh's first Halloween was a success!

Our Little Glow Worm
Kinleigh's bilirubin level was high for the first 4 days. We had to wake up super early every morning for 4 days and drive to Forrest General to have her heel stuck, so they could check her level. It was very stressful and frustrating to me. Kinleigh didn't like to eat very often, but she loved sleeping, which made getting her level down harder. To help decrease her level, we had to wrap her in a bili blanket 24/7. I was so happy when I got the phone call to stop the bili blanket and the blood sticks!

Home Sweet Home
On September 28, we were discharged from the hospital. It was a cold, rainy day. We were excited to bring our sweet bundle of joy home. We can't believe she is ours!

D is for Delivery
So on Monday September 26, 2011 around 6:30pm my water broke at home! I was 37 weeks to the day. I had worked all weekend and was exhausted Monday, so I took 2 naps and watched tv all day, which isn't unusual after working 3 days in a row 12 hour shifts. I told Kaleb my water broke and he freaked out. I called the hospital and they told me to come on. So we finished packing our bags. As we were driving out of our driveway, I said this is the last time it will just be us!
We made it to Forrest General around 830pm. I changed into the flattering hospital grown. The doctor said I was 3cm and my water was definitely broke. I got hooked up to all the monitors and called my family! The nurse started an 18g in my left forearm and started the liter of fluid that I needed before I could get an epidural.
My epidural only numbed the right side of my body, so I felt everything on the left. The pain was bad but I knew I had to breath so Kinleigh would get all the oxygen she needed!
300am I needed to push and I was 10cm. At 336am I had my sweet baby girl!! She was absolutely beautiful!
